Joe Linhart

Bandleader, lead guitar and vocals

I suppose that I was always meant for music. Well I grew up in Saugerties, New York, which was the home of Woodstock '94. (Yes, I went!). My dad owns over ninety guitars.

However, I did not start playing myself until sixth grade, after hearing a Jimi Hendrix album. I have been in and out of bands since then, including a band with Pete back in college over twenty years ago.

I love being able to share my music with people, and hope I can equally give my three kids the gift of music too.

The Stolen Hearts

Pete Kennedy

Drums

I grew up in West Hartford and started playing the drums in fourth grade. I met Joe in college, and we formed a band freshman year.

After college, I moved to NYC and played in a couple of other bands. Then, I started a business and took a break from band life. Eventually, I made my way back to West Hartford to raise a family.

Then Joe moved to Hartford, of all places! We got in touch and started playing music together again. It’s good to be back!

Scott Campbell

Rhythm guitar and bass

I was born and raised in America's Rust Belt (both Michigan and Ohio). I made my splash in music last century but “retired” at 24.

Musically, I have been slowly thawing since the pandemic, recording a great deal and playing with people again. Joe has fully de-iced me, and because of that, I am here.

John Skinnon

Bass

I grew up in Bristol, Connecticut. My mother plays acoustic guitar and sings and asked me if I wanted to learn. I never wanted to until I saw my friend play the electric guitar in 7th grade! Then I got my first guitar on my 13th birthday.

I played in several bands with that friend, and when I was 21 I started playing bass guitar with him in a band called Father Panic. I quit that band, the went back to school at UConn, and basically stopped playing for over a decade.

I started wondering why and how I ever stopped playing and felt a strong desire to play again. So I started learning to sing and play acoustic (like my mom), and started playing reunion shows with Father Panic. I met Big Joe only recently on July 12, 2024, when he was playing on Pratt St, and the rest is history in the making!

David Reynolds

Keyboards, organs and synthesizers

I grew up in Lynn, Massachusetts, home of Me '81! My dad owns zero guitars. I started playing in first grade after hearing a Mozart album. I was not in a band with Pete back in college over twenty years ago.

I love being able to share my music with people, and hope I can equally give my three kids the gift of music too.

David Marottolo

Keyboards, organs and synthesizers

I grew up in a Wethersfield, Connecticut. I had an upright bass at home and started playing it as a kid but didn't take lessons till later on. I started off as a classical pianist and organist, and love my current work now as a collaborative pianist and musical theater keyboardist.

I found myself playing jazz, rock, and funk after college and felt welcomed by the local music scene. I first sat in with this band in Hartford and have loved playing with them ever since.

Maxine Martin

Saxophone

I was born in Seattle, Washington, but grew up in New London, Connecticut. I have had a love for music since childhood, starting off with the piano and then taking lessons on other instruments like the violin, guitar but then finally learning that the woodwinds were for me.

I played the clarinet in The New London High School Band and the tenor sax in the Stage Band. Then I studied Music Education at Hartt School at The University of Hartford and later obtained a B.A. in Music at The University of South Florida. I've worked in New York Public Schools as both a music instructor and substitute teacher for over 20 years and also performed in theater and band settings. I moved back to Connecticut in 2008, performing in many band settings and teaching in The Connecticut Public Schools.

I have a CD called "Fragments and Colors Of Me" that has mostly originals in which I use various genres of jazz, blues, R&B and Latin influences. I enjoy performing with many bands that use different musical influences that keep me growing.
